Discrimination And Hatred

The intolerance in the society is increasing day by day.People are getting impatient towards each other on every front be it religious, gender, caste or color. This hatred is spreading very rapidly and it requires immediate solution otherwise it can lead to imponderable loss.
In India, although the impact of discrimination on the basis of color is not that huge but it exist, the others though are contributing to very large extent and to be honest there is not much difference between three of them.

The gender inequality still exists both in urban and rural areas. On every front, women's are contributing and that too successfully. But, still they are deprived of the facilities and services enjoyed by their male counterparts.

The rate of opportunity (of females getting better education although is increasing but still lags behind males), The general perception of society about females (in certain areas like working late night in the office, going to turbulent places, dealing with troublesome people and many more things) is improving but at leisurely pace,
In the government sector (the women reservation bill is pending in the parliament, they are provided with certain amount of power in the local self government [Panchayati Raj and Municipal corporation] still the power is enjoyed by their husbands) and disparity in income in all sectors not helping the cause.

The religion although seems like not playing huge role in dividing the people around the world but in the context of India it is completely different. The Indian subcontinent is the birthplace of four of the world's major religions; namely Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism.Zoroastrianism and Judaism also have an ancient history in India, and each has several thousands of Indian adherents. India has the largest population of people adhering to Zoroastrianism (i.e. Parsis and Iranis) even though these religions are not native to India.
It plays a pivotal role (and so much that it leads to formation of another country) in elections (which plays a huge role in taking the nation forward) and can lead to both in uniting and dividing the country.

The cast system is synonymous with elections in India, In almost every state the demand for inclusion of particular caste into quota system (helpful in jobs and education) is rising. Political masters who are able to use this tool effectively emerges victorious more often.

In recent years, Sarah Joseph also joined an increasing list of littérateur protesting the lack of freedom, and the silence of the Sahitya Akademi on writers and people being killed. The nine authors returned their Akademi awards and Kannada author Aravind Malagatti submitted his resignation from the Akademi’s General Council.
The Urdu novelist Rehman Abbas return his 2011 Sahitya Akademi award, protesting the Dadri lynching incident, soon after writers Nayantara Sahgal and poet Ashok Vajpeyi had returned their literary honours to protest what they termed as an “assault on right to freedom of both life and expression”.
